Hi my name is Jerry Rice Jr. I am the son of the famous football player Jerry Rice. I am 7 years old and every day I am pressured to be a star football athlete, but my passion is in music. I want to pursue saxophone and I want to be in a band with my friends.

What I learned of the cultural revolution

The cultural revolution was an era in China from 1966-1976 that encouraged Maoist beliefs.
- The revolution was carried out by The Gang of Four, a group that consisted of four associates including Mao Zedong's wife.
- Mao Zedong, a Chinese statesman and co founder of the Chinese Communist Party, wanted for everyone to be the same.
- It was undesirable to be counter revolutionary, meaning it was unacceptable to be an individual.
-Mao Zedong was given three years to defeat the Western World of Britain and America but failed to do so.
- Mao Zedong also eventually defeated the Japanese and Kuomintang national forces to start up the People's Republic of China in 1949.
-The middle class was described as bourge, who had materialistic values and conventional attitudes.
